Born in Anhui, China. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and her M.S. in Electronic Engineering from the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. She is proficient in biosensor and affective computing and has rich experience in R&D and transformation of scientific research in the fields of fashion, culture, science, and technology.

In 2020, Chen Wang set up a startup company SenTech, leading the R&D team to develop the world’s first emotional intelligence ring, focusing on the emotional perception and emotional interaction in the metaverse, and exploring how people’s emotions can be intelligently mapped and interact with avatars and objects in a virtual space.

In 2022, Chen Wang set up another startup company, Linker International, aiming to help Wenzhou’s traditional footwear industry to successfully transform into a fashion and technology hub, attracting international footwear designers, and linking the cooperation with the international footwear design competition platform. Through building a strong alliance between international footwear designers and the Wenzhou footwear industry, Chen Wang and her team are accelerating excellent footwear design work into real production.
Besides, Chen and her team assist footwear designers to open a door to China
footwear manufacturing industry and online shop business channels by taking advantage of their rich resources from domestic media and marketing.
