Bespoke boots for a double-amputee at the knees who struggled to find footwear for her prosthetic legs that provided balance and stability as well as visual appeal. Working solely from a pair of prosthetics, the boot was designed with a block heel for stability. Each side is slightly different, to allow for differences between each side of the prosthetics, requiring separate patterns and fitted over-the-knee. The flora and fauna design is hand-inked on veg-tanned leather with acrylic detailing. Oak bark tanned leather soles. Completely handmade.
