A combination of innovative technology and craftsmanship.
The shoes are an innovative accessory for performing acrobatic arts.
Through anatomical casting and 3D scanning of the feet, the accessory was designed to fit the performer's feet perfectly. Both digital and physical processes were used in the design and making process. With the use of leather in the inner shoe, the feet are protected from abrasion and damage by the material, and the use of 3D design and printing create a creative and accurate shape, as well as the use of durable and strong material for the heel.

Bio
Maya Kaplan is a Performance artist and a fashion and accessories designer. Kaplan combines digital technology and craftwork. Born in 1992, she is a graduate of the Department of Jewelry and Fashion at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. She Participated in the exhibition Expo Dubai (2022), a couple exhibition at Alfred gallery in Tel Aviv (2022), and selected to participate in the fashion festival “Fashionclash”, in The Netherlands.
