In 2017, we were briefed to redesign the Speedcross Vario, a low-cost version of the successful Speedcross 3. Rather than re-designing a cheap, spiritless Speedcross, we decided to go back to the roots of the best seller's success: what makes it different?

We started the project by finding the spirit behind the Speedcross: a mud buggy on your foot ready to bite the ground. We pitched the project to the picture above and the following simple yet expressive tagline: "Explosive grip".
