'Roots of Rebirth' explores the symbiosis of bio-materials and the artisanal craftsmanship of shoemaking through a collection that references the rebirth created by the contrast of the fragility and strength. The high-heeled sandal design captures the fragile yet sinister nature of the thorn and a newly blooming flower with blade-sharp petals. The heel and sole unit are made of bio plastic, encourages sustainable designs and prevents fashion waste. The pleaser boots bring a soft yet strong approach to femininity, rebirth from contrast. The design is produced with leftover materials- a revival.
