This project is set in a post-disaster era, exploring how to redefine tools like shoes.
I conducted on-site collection of ammonite fossils and integrated their geometric aesthetics into the shoe sole design using 3D scanning technology, combined with parametric design and biodegradable 3D printing materials. The shoe upper features natural organic textures, reinterpreted through the leather wet-molding technique.
The quick-detach modular system allows for the easy interchange of different uppers based on needs, while also reducing waste and aligning with sustainable development.
