The next-generation sustainable footwear is designed for high performance and features a revolutionary manufacturing approach that combines eco-friendly materials with exceptional durability and comfort. Designed for ultra runners performing at the highest level, the shoe delivers sustainable endurance and peak performance.
By leveraging Binder Jetting technology and repurposing coffee ground waste, the shoe can be constructed in a single piece, using parametric lattice structures with cellular density control for personalized customization for elevated performance.

Hello, my name is Dahoon Kim. Growing up in Orange County, I was exposed to diverse cultures and communities, thrived on making and building, and had a deep passion for discovery and exploration.
As an Industrial Designer specializing in footwear, wearables, and performance, I investigate opportunities to elevate people’s lives.
With a playful approach to exploration, I experiment, prototype, and ideate, finding the most innovative solutions.
From future tech to manufacturing, I see what people need, what’s possible, and how it can be produced today and 5/10/50 years from now.
