In our world of fast fashion, manual crafts seem to wither like flowers.
This high heeled shoe, manually-embroidered and handmade to anatomically fit one person only, is reminiscent of a time in which ornamentation wasn't thought worthless. It is a protest: A call for slow fashion, for bespoke fitting, for preservation of dying crafts; For non-utilitarian beauty; And appreciation of the short-lasting wonders in life.
