Launched at London Fashion Week, followed by a presentation at Shanghai, the crossover shoes entitled Kowloon Walled City, inspired by the mysteries of Beijing’s Forbidden City, and Hong Kong’s now extinct Kowloon Walled City, the collection promises innovations with the brand’s trademark East meets West dichotomies complementing the sustainable concept. The collection applied authentic embroidery techniques from Sichuan, which is one of the intangible cultural heritage of China with 1000 years of history. This crossover collection got a grand success, hundred pre-order received during pop-up.

Bio
Loom Loop co-founder Andy Wong graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and has worked closely with esteemed designers such as Robert Cary-Williams and Shelley Fox in London, as well as being the first chief designer at Issa London. Upon returning to Hong Kong, Andy worked as a professional fashion consultant with revered international designer labels.

The duo brought Loom Loop’s first collection to life with SS15, which went on to be showcased at Tokyo Fashion Week. The label has also gone on the showcase in London, Beijing and New York Fashion Weeks.
