Kabiland is a collection that tells the story of a group of alien teenagers who are rebelling against school code and have transformed their school uniforms and accessories into otherworldly designs in order to express their individual personalities through clothing and fashion. 'Kabi' is my childhood nickname, and so this collection represents a fantasyland loosely based on parts of my childhood. This collection includes two footwear designs, the 'Space Flower Flatform', based on a classic Mary Jane, and the 'Alien Ballet Pointe', made for a misfit dancer with tentacles for feet.
