The egg is not a perfect circle, and is the perfect shape for animals to create life; and because of this, it evokes a sense of security and stability, the ultimate form of curves. A humorous and lovely object, like a dinosaur egg. The white and yolk peek out from the zigzag cracks. It looks like a leather art, but please stare at it carefully. These shoes are actually inspired by the traditional oxford design: toe caps, vamps, and wings. There is also a seam at the heel curve and an outsole.This soft oval shape, which can be enjoyed from all directions, is unmistakably heel-less shoes.

Bio
Misawa trained as a shoemaker in Tokyo and in Vienna, Austria, for 10 years. In Vienna, he spent his free time visiting artists’ ateliers and art museums, where he was absorbed by the creative artistry. This experience inspired his career as an artist. Returning to Japan, he continued to learn under some Japanese artists and craftsmen for 4 years to extend his range of expression. It has been 20 years since he has engaged in shoemaking. He will keep pursuing the new value of “shoe art.”
