The "Web Stepper" sneakers merge comic book storytelling with innovative footwear design. Mixing traditional sneaker construction, AR technology, and 3D printing, this project transforms footwear into a narrative medium. Inspired by the world of Miles Morales (Spider-Man), the Web Steppers depict an encounter with a symbiote in the Spider-Verse.

Bio
Aidan is a footwear designer at Ground Up International, where he applies his diverse background and design expertise to create footwear for leading entertainment brands. Born in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Aidan’s upbringing in a rich blend of cultures has deeply influenced his creative approach. He earned a Bachelor's in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois Chicago, with a footwear focus, and further refined his skills at Pensole Lewis College in the New Balance program. Today, Aidan continues to build on his experiences to develop innovative footwear.
