Biofilia is the deeply engrained desire to commune with nature and all living things in a beautiful and harmonious way. It was this desire that led to the creation of this sustainable footwear collection. This is a collection that centers around solving the lack of compostable materials in the footwear industry and resolves it by using leaf leather.
The Beleaf material successfully creates a product that successfully engages in "circular sustainability." Not only does it come from nature and composts back into it, but it also provides revenue to a native Amazon community.
