The sneaker prototype was manufactured in Atlanta from a combination of petroleum-based ethylene-vinyl acetate and foam produced from algae. Yeezy’s new planet-friendly mindset is hardly surprising, considering collaborator Adidas’ longstanding experimentation with eco-conscious designs.
