Around 2.35 million tons of waste from the apparel and textile sectors are generated each year. How can we reduce these numbers?
The focus is the LESS-waste design/pattern drafting. This will likely increase the efficiency, respect, and value of the materials. LESS is a pair of mules made of repurposed personal unwanted (functional) clothes also other materials found on the street to achieve a simpler unisex upper pattern of footwear, which is inspired by the ancient mocassin, and supported by the Japanese Boro and Wabi-Sabi philosophies for its beauty in imperfection. LESS revalues.
