This potentially important project New-dawn explores the original concept of bio-medical shoes. It intends to demonstrate how footwear can boost the immune system by using specialized sustainable materials based on ergonomic design.

This project was conducted at the Korean National Institute of Footwear & Leather Technology in Busan. As agarwood has been rated among the top-ten Korean herbal medicines, agarwood in solution form was chosen for soaking shoe-leather, in order to impart its remarkable healing properties, which derive from its antibiotic elements.
