I created a footwear collection to complement a collection from JCRT, a brand I respect because of their emphasis on telling a story with fashion. Taking inspiration from a variety of subcultural sources, JCRT founders say, "Each collection of shirts and trousers reimagines the possibilities of plaid, with proprietary patterns that remix an array of references and inspirations, from military camos and iconic book jackets to classic horror movies and post-punk album covers."

My hope was to create a footwear line that would honor their vision while combining it with my own design aesthetic.
